This is an older version. I'm guessing it's 10yrs+.
It's definitely got it's players wear above the pickups, and the wood grain has texture.

I love the neck on this bass. Probably my favorite neck for a 5-string.

If u go into the control cavity the last two numbers of the serial number are the year.
