FS/FT: Epiphone Ripper - Limited Ed. (Black/Maple)

Epiphone Custom Shop Ripper - Limited Edition

This is one of a limited run that was produced in 2006.

Maple body and maple neck.
Maple fretboard with pearloid markers.
Brass nut.
Black finish/black headstock - a harder find than the natural finish Ripper.
3-way pickup switch, v/v/t pots.
P/J pickup configuration.
It doesn't end up sounding too Fendery because the pickup placement is different. Very cool throaty sound.

I'm the original owner. It's barely been played at all, and is in excellent condition. Full disclosure: There's a light square on the back of the headstock from one of the factory stickers preventing the finish from maturing. It has one thin, shallow 2 inch scratch on the back, that couldn't get to show in photos and a small very shallow impression on the top side of the neck, nowhere I put my fingers when playing.
Other than that, it's in awesome condition. Such a cool looking bass.

No case, but will be packed well with the neck removed.

$325 SHIPPED

I found conflicting info on the web.
Here's what I got with a tape measure...

SCALE: 34 1/4"
NUT WIDTH: 1 5/8"

The electronics are perfect. The P pickup sounds very cool. It's closer to the neck, but not muddy. It's big, clear, and throaty. I think the slightly increased scale length also influences its unique tone, and makes it sound less Precision-ish.

I had one. It's a fine bass, very punchy; wrote a review on it for harmony Central some eyars back. Loved it.
