FS/FT: Epiphone Ripper reissue

Hello!

Up for sale/trade is a limited edition Epiphone Ripper reissue. I know, I know: they really dropped the ball changing the original mudbuckers to a P/J setup, but still, this is an excellent bass. Once you get past the quibbles, what you have is a solid sounding and playing passive bass that looks killer to boot. I bought this right when they came out, but as I already have a 2 P's and a J, this doesn't get the play time it deserves. Hence, it is also in nearly new condition.

Maple body and fretboard; it's satin-finished maple neck gives smooth playability. The neck really reminds me of a P-bass. Brass nut, and 3-way switching for the pups. Top-loading bridge (reminiscent of a Hipshot "A" style) makes changing strings a breeze. Currently strung up with new medium-gauge Chromes. I will ship this in a barely used gigbag and will insure the bass as much as you want to pay for, but it is typically not very expensive. (insurance only works for the recipient, not the sender) I would like to get $350 shipped.

Here's a link to a sound clip. This clip goes as follows: My MIJ Pbass (with OOOOLD groundwounds) > Ripper P pup solo'd > Ripper both pups > Ripper J pup solo'd. All sounds were made without effects, eq, or compression. No cuts were made, and therefore pickup switching on the Ripper is SILENT!

I like it!

I am open to any trade offers, but here are some things I am looking for/intending to put the money from this bass towards:

(also see my pedals for sale HERE)

- Earthquaker Devices Hummingbird v2
- A sturdy, 2-level keyboard Z-stand
- A widescreen lcd computer monitor

Thanks for looking!

I couldn't tell you! I imagine that it would as well as any passive PJ setup if you put some roundwound strings on her.
Slap isn't in my repertoire.
