Excellent condition Epiphone Thunderbird Made in China upgraded with Gibson Bicentennial Pickguard and Gibson Truss Cover.
This bass does not have any dings. There are a couple scratches that show up in the pics on the back of the bass on the edge in the black area of the burst. There are also some light surface scuffs/rash/swirling on the back that does not show up in the pics. All scratches/scuffs are just on the surface and do not get into the clearcoat. There are some scuffs on the top edge of the bridge cover. Bass weighs 8.8 lbs.
The bicentennial pickguard is a rarity that unfortunately was modified by the previous owner by drilling a hole in it to accommodate the pickup cover.
The case has seen some use and has several scuffs on it. It has been modified with a drawn on Tbird in gold paint pen.
The bicentennial guard gives this Bird some serious mojo and makes it unique. Because of the rareness of the guard I am starting this at $500$475$450$400 $380 shipped. Paypal is OK. I have no clue what it is really worth so feel free to make an offer.... Worse I can say is no. I have seen a bicentennial guard go on ebay for $625 and currently there is one listed for $650.... Granted they were probably in better shape than this one considering the modifications. Included is the original Epiphone pickguard and truss cover along with a Gibson strap and straplocks.
