Up for sale is a like new ESP/LTD Surveyor 405 5-string bass. I bought this bass new in August '09. The plastic is still on the control/battery covers. It plays and sounds great, but I am moving away from 5 bangers. The only real flaw of this bass is that it is very long with the 5 in-line headstock, but that is a design/manufacturing issue.
It is strung with the factory SIT nickels, but I don't kill strings, so they still sound new. Has a very nice B string and balances great seated or on a strap.
These have been discontinued and replaced with the ESP/LTD Surveyor 415 series which are exactly the same but have a 1 in the model name. These sold new for $850 on MF, the 415's are $730 on MF, both without cases.
