SALE PENDING FS/FT: Fbass BN5:
-Ash Body
-Maple neck and fretboard
-Fbass pickups and preamp
This bass is in excellent condition due to being recently refinished by Wilkins Guitar Finishes, so it now has a nice hard poly finish unlike the standard nitro finish on these basses. The only blemish is a small ding on the headstock that you can't see from 3 feet away. It is marked with a red circle on the closeup pic of the headstock. This bass plays amazing and sounds amazing! The action is fast and the neck feels great! $2000 Shipped For trades I'd be interested in only high end 5 strings with a natural wood finish and it has to weigh on the light side. Basses I'd be interested in include Sadowsky, MTD, Roscoe, or some other high end bass I haven't thought of....

Sales are really slow right now here on talkbass, but if somebody sees the thread enough times over a long enough period of time, gas might just set in for an impulse buy. |

That said, after many basses, namely multiples of the ones you are selling except the Skjold, I can say that the F bass is really what hits home for me.
Just saying, if you are stating you are searching for something, you should give the F a chance, unless the visuals aren't what you are looking for. Out of many basses, I really only dig my r and f bass. Not to say others don't cut it, but thsoe two really cover everything I am looking for.
if you AREN'T searching for something, then by all means continue! I had a blast when I was doing it to figure out what I liked and didn't like. |

I have been looking for THE gear to hold onto and play for a good while and be happy with every little detail. My wife and I are planning a family within the next year, as well as thinking about buying a bigger house. I did the amp thing and found that my current epifani setup works best for me by far over everthing else I've owned. But now it is the basses turn.... |

I wouldn't be surpised if my Skjold weighed just under 8lbs, were as this Fbass probably weighs just above 9lbs. To my heavily damaged back, that is enough right there to make the decision for me. It is a beautiful bass, plays well and sounds great! But I just don't think my back can take it on a gig.... |
