FS/FT Feeler: 1993 Fender American Standard Jazz Longhorn

Sign in to disble this ad
  • 1993 Fender American Standard Jazz Bass
  • Longhorn/Boner Jazz made from 89-93
  • 22 Frets.
  • TBX Tone. Center Detent. From "0" to "5" the TBX is your standard tone control, but once you pass "5" you start to decrease the resistance which allows more bass, treble, presence and output to flow to your amp. (quoted from fender site) Thanks ljazz!
  • Schaller Straplock buttons
  • 9.6 pounds
  • Previous owner: Kicks from The Briefs and The Cute Lepers. This was his backup bass.
  • Comes with Gig Bag. No hard case. Sorry.

Gave it the once over tonight. Cleaned up pretty good I think. Great player but is not mint by any stretch. Everything works and sounds great though.
Selling to finance a P-Bass purchase. Would consider trades for any nice P-Bass +/- cash. Do not hesitate to make offers.

$750
$650$600$550

That was the Fender Jazz Bass Plus from the same era I believe that had the Lace Sensor Pickups and the Schaller fine tuner bridge. Both had the 22 fret neck. Similar but different.

Wish I had the $$$

The boner design I find very cool, but IMO it looks even cooler on the jazzes

?????? wow !!!!!

550.00 for a US Jazz...... C'mon folks, this is a great bass. I'd be all over it if I had the extra cash. But my "fun-fund" is depleted, and I already have a '92 boner jazz bass..... I bought it brand spankin' new, and it's one of those "I'll never sell it" basses.

Some clarification on the TBX tone control..... below the detent, it is a standard tone control. Above center, it's bringing up the highs.

For 550, you couldn't go wrong, even if you're looking for a platform to do some modding on.

Good luck with the sale!

Thanks ljazz! Added a better descriptor for the TBX.

I am slightly baffled at the lack of interest.
