Up for grabs is a gorgeous 4 String Hilton bass. For those who don't know of Pete Hilton, he is the headbuilder for the amazing and incredible world renowned luthier Carl Thompson. The body is made of a combination of Curly Maple, Cocabolo, and Bloodwood. Neck is Flamed maple with a bloodwood fingerboard. Headstock is made of a combination of Curly Maple, Cocabolo, and Bloodwood.Cocabolo and Flame Maple knobs! Hipshot bridge and tuners. Very Sweet bass, with equisite craftmanship!! This play is incredible!! Super low action, lower than most guitars I have ever played( with no buzzing or deadspots} perfect balance, straight neck. Incredible tone!! and by the way, pickups are made from a combination of Cocabolo and flamed maple!! One word WWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This Bass is flawless! Brand New!!

Since I am trying to save money for an upright, I would appreciate it if you would remove this from the forum. I certainly dont need to add this to the gas pile. All kidding aside, this thing is absolutely beautiful. Good luck with the sale brother.

The nut width is about 1.5ish. Neck feel is perfect not a bat and not too thin, I love the way it feels! Magical playability! No bs

No, one of Pete Hilton's good friends is a photographer. Pete sent me the pics just prior to shipment of the bass. They are fantastic though. I just recieved the bass this past week. I am on a mission to get these basses around the world. They are some of the best handcrafted basses that one can buy. Stunning looking, play smoother than butter. and extremely well built! This bass is gonna hopefully make someone very happy. Keep on the lookout, everyone of these I sell, will follow another. I will keep them coming. People really need to try these basses. I support Pete, and back him 1000% He is an amazingly talented, unique, and an all around amazing person!!

Is there a website for Pete's basses?
I've only seen his work on sites that are selling the instruments but no actual place to see his styles and options. I know they are all probably very specific and subject to the desires of the buyer, but it would nice to see some basic differences between the instruments.
