Fellow TBers, even though I know I will kick myself later, I am putting a feeler out on my beloved 1993 Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray. If you like wood and classic EBMM tone then this is a dream bass.
2 piece swamp ash body (the grain on this is gorgeous), birds-eye maple neck, rosewood finger board, original 9v active preamp and pup, the super sweet EBMM bridge with adjustable "dub" pads, chrome hardware and TWO pick guards. I have the original black guard, but Fekwood (the original owner) was clever enough to have a custom clear guard made to keep the wood grain visible. The few times I took her out to shows, other bass players would always comment on how pretty she was. The bass is in great condition and is lighter in weight than the SUB I had.
Will ship in a padded gig bag or HSC (extra as I would need to go out and buy one), bubble wrapped, boxed, insured via UPS ground.
As for trades, I am really looking for something similar to my 1993 Warwick Proline with 18v bart pre and pups and the best WENGE neck I have ever played. So other wenge necked 4 string basses or similar feeling woods is preferred. Warwick is the most obvious builder, but I've see other builders use "organic" feeling neck woods as well. Would also entertain offers for Tobias, Roscoe Century, Peavey Cirrus, Pedulla, Dingwall or anything else you feel like throwing my way since it is a feeler. Would really like an older Warwick Thumb again. No amps or cabs please, I am set. Also, the trade can be plus or minus cash on either end.
As for a sale price, $1050 shipped CONUS. Cheers!
