I bought this bass directly from Johnny at Atelier Z just last month (Oct 2008). I have only used for a few rehearsals and on one gig. I am considering selling because I found my dream bass about the same time I ordered this one (a Celinder J-Update 5).
It has an alder body and a maple neck/fretboard, and it has a 34" scale lenght. It weighs 9.6 pounds and features a Bartolini preamp (boost only at 40Hz and 4kHz, like the Sadowsky pre), which can be bypassed for passive sound. It also has a Badass V bridge.
It has a KILLER slap tone! Very Marcus... And sounds great for fingerstyle as well.
I am not sure about the price... It was listed for 300,000 Japanese Yen (roughly $3,000), but Johnny gave me a sweeter deal on the bass.
I have seen used Atelier Z's here on TB for about $1500-$1600, but, obviously these had been more used. Let's say
$1,850 OBO + shipping (approx. $100 from Denmark to the US).
I would prefer a bank transfer (I can provide IBAN number and SWIFT/BIC code), but I will consider accepting PayPal if no other options are available.
