Like the title says this is just a feeler. The only reason this is up here is because I did not specify jumbo frets and this bass has vintage small fretwire which is why I can never seem to get along with Laklands. I have some emails out about a refret job but figured I'd throw it up here and see what pops up as i really don't have the money for a refret from a recent buying binge.
Details:
Clement #296
-Mike Body Shape
-Spanish Cedar Body
-Claro Walnut Top
-Quartersawn Maple neck
-Bolivian Rosewood Fretboard
-Hard Wired EMG Jazz pickups
-Glockenklang 3 band preamp
-Hardshell case
-Weighs less than 8 lbs (best my scale will tell me)
I changed the original pickups to the EMG's as the Fender Super 55's were a little too aggressive sounding in this bass. I also changed the knobs to Aluminum Sadowsky style ones as I am a little slow with my EQ and need a visual reference. Also changed the strap button to some jumbos.
Bass has a few small dings in the body as I haved played this a whole lot in the short time I had it. As you can see below this is a beautiful one of a kind bass. Would cost around $2000 to have built.
Mainly curious about trades but would sell outright for $1500 shipped. Trades? 4 string, not vintage frets, less than 9.5 lbs. Amps would be cool too. Tube or have always gassed for a Glockeklang
Run any trades by me. I could do a trade +cash from your end but couldn't add much from my side, htough I could add something from my profile with the exception of my Fretless Precision.
