O.K. so those of you who know me here on TB know me as Syco_bass and have bought and sold stuff to/from me.
I have been around a while and have been doing setups and repairs for local bass players and guitar players.
Recently (within the last year) I have been building "semi-custom" basses under the name "A.B.C." (Arizona Bass Company) "Custom Bass Guitars" I say "semi-custom" because none of my basses were/are designed by me. I mostly use designs that were created by Leo Fender and I use parts built and distributed by manufacturers and distributors here in the U.S. If you want a truly (one of a kind) Custom/hand built instrument, I would contact one of the amazing builders here on TB.
So, with that said, I am selling one of my first builds. (serial # 0002) I was planning on keeping this one, but I have so many new builds on the build table right now, I need some cash to fund them.
Here is the description:
RH 72" 5 string "P" bass
Neck - 22 fret, 34" scale, Maple/Maple (highly figured)
Nut - 1 3/4" black (graphtech)
Body - Alder
Finish - Black Lacquer
Pick guard - 3 ply black pearloid
Pickup - Nordstrand 4.2 MM
Electronics - Passive V/T with S/P switch (.47 "vitamin Q" PIO tone cap)
Bridge - Takeuchi 5 string, 18mm string spacing, strung through body
Total mass weight - 10.5lbs
Normally I would charge in the vicinity of $1800 for a build like this. However considering my circumstances I am willing to let this go for around
$800.
I am open to negotiations, especially if you have parts to trade. I am mostly interested in 4 or 5 string Fender style necks and bodies.
