FS/FT: FEELER - Fender American Deluxe Jazz V

Sign in to disble this ad
Putting up my 2007 (I think) Fender American Deluxe Jazz V. Antique Cherry stain (again I think that's the color). Nice wood grain. I've only had for a few months. Changes in songs and my poor technique have me wanting to go back to a 4 string. I don't go to the B as much as I thought, still need to D tune for some songs and still need to use my drop c bass. The switch from 5 - 4 during practice is a bit confusing for me.

The bass is in new condition. There is nothing wrong with it. No scratches, dings, swirls, anything. It's is new condition.

These models have the smaller bodies, 22 fret, 4+1 headstock, SCN pups, 18v pre, top load bridge. I have the black PG and a Tort PG for this.

This is by far the lightest jazz bass I've owned - I think it's only 9lbs max.

Asking $1000 shipped. I don't have the Fender case but have a case I can include or a nice gig bag.

As far as trades: I'm looking to trade down at this point. This is the most expensive bass I've owned to date but I can settle for less This jazz was way more than I needed (when is it ever about need?)

Primary trade bait (4 stringers only, black or wood/stain pref):

- Fender Reggie Hamilton
- Fender Roadworn (P or J)
- Fender Hwy 1 (P or J)
- Fender Jazz 24
- Fender Geddy
- Fender Marcus Miller
- Fender Aerodyne
- Schecter Cali Custom
- Schecter Ultrabass
- Lakland
- LTD Phoenix
- Warwick Corvette

I'm very partial to Fenders and Schecter's.

Also needing a decent rig - Head/cab/stack. Partial to Ampeg, Avatar and the Hartke LX/Hydrive models. Would need to be local deal for a cab.

Again looking to trade down or a 2 fer 1 deal at this point.

Thanks.

All pms responded. I've received some great offers so please bear with me. Not trying to be flaky just tired of the bass merry-go-round and looking for 'the one' or actually my second 'the one'..... :-)

Looks like a couple of possible deals may fall through. Back to the top. Again, my goal is to sell outright, trade down a little and either pull a little cash or amp.

Yes, I will consider a 2fer deal on this - looking for a 4 string, fretted. Preference for basses listed in first post but will consider all offers. They don't have to be in perfect condition. Mojo is ok.

Also will consider mix and match - bass, head, cab for this. I also have a Fender PRO combo if you are local and want to do a full swap.
