FS/FT FEELER: Fender Jazz Deluxe V

I purchased this bass on behalf of a friend of mine because he wanted to try his chops on a 5 string. Well, he's not loving it. And now I'm selling it for him...

2006 Fender Jazz Deluxe V (5 string, MIM, which means it's made in Mexico)
34" Scale, Fender Noiseless Pickups, 17mm spacing (I assumed 18, but was wrong, just measured it), 3 band EQ, 9volt, sunburst, alder, SWITCHED TO white pickguard, rosewood board, cleaned, intonated, works and sounds great.

It's in great shape, nothing in the way of major damage, just a few nicks and dings, but hardly noticeable. The center detente in the MID pot doesn't "detente", but the pot works fine.

Actually got the bass now, it's still for sale (mainly). The guy ended up getting a Marcus, so he's set for a 4 string.

I have the option to keep this bass and pay him off, sell it, or trade it for something I'd want.
I'd prefer to sell, but run trades by me if interested. I'm more of a 5 string guy, but will entertain offers.

I traded the pickguard off for a white one. I figured if this bass doesn't sell, I'm gonna have to pay him back and keep this. Might as well make it look more my style.

The bass is still available and will have a white PG instead. Pics to come when it arrives.

I'm amazed that no one wants a Jazz V. It's a great bass to start with, but easy to upgrade and the price is right. And it's not like I don't want to keep it, I just already have a US Dlx V and need money more than a similar bass.

Trade offers are still welcome.

Mexico. It's made in Mexico.

Also, until now I assumed it was 18mm spaced at the bridge (like its US counterpart), but I was wrong... 17mm at the bridge.

MIM, 17mm.

Oh, and 10 lbs on the nose.

It's becoming abundantly clear to me that this bass is destined to be kept by me...

So this is the last bump. I'll see what happens, but if no one wants it, I'm going to keep it, alter it, play it, and love it.
