FS/FT (feeler) Ibanez SRX 700

*** ON HOLD, PENDING TRADE ***

I got this last year as a back-up to my Fender Jazz and just need to make some room in the house. Not that a bass takes up a lot of space, but, nonetheless...

The catch is, I really, really, like the neck on this bass. Even more than the Fender. It just doesn't have the warm sound like the Fender, so that may be the (very weak) reason I'm thinking of giving it a new home.

Here are the specs:
  • SRX4 Neck-Thru
  • Maple/Walnut neck/Swamp Ash body
  • Medium frets
  • Accu-Cast B-200 bridge
  • PFR-AL4 neck pickup
  • PFR-AL4 bridge pickup
  • EQB-IIDX EQ

FS: Not sure what price I'd be asking for this yet, so shoot over an offer if you're interested.

FT: Even though I need to make some space, I'd like to get a semi-decent 5-string to toy around with to see if I want to pursue that route for a while. I could be talked into parting with a little bit of cash to even things out, depending on the offer. Also am in need of 2x10 or 1x12 cab, preferably Epifani, Aguilar or Bergantino.

I'm looking for something around $300, but that's because I'm thinking of keeping it at this point. I'm looking at some pick-up options to boost the sound a bit because (if I can't emphasize it enough), I really like the playability and the neck on this thing. I have small hands and it's a dream to play shape-wise. I just need to tweak the tone to get the sound I want.

Thanks for the offers, but I'd really only be interested in trading for a 5-string. I'm now leaning toward a Squier Jazz 5-string.
