That's a beautiful color - if she had a maple neck I probably would have to go for it!

Best of luck, free bump!

Nice bass and great TBer to deal with. Tempting me with this man! How does this compare to the DJ5?

Hey Jay,

well for me, my money obviously was on the 55-02. While the DJ5 is a great bass, I just never really connected with the necks. I've had 2 of them over the course of time that I've had this 55-02. The 55-02 neck, to me, felt a little narrower at the nut and a little flatter front to back. It may just all be in my head though. I really do dig the neck on this one though. I had Joe Hincliff at Corner Music do a setup on it about a year or so ago, and the neck hasn't budged since. It really is a great bass and records amazingly well. Unfortunately, I just don't use it live. Nothing wrong with it...I just don't use it live. And I'm not doing enough studio work that justifies keeping it? I don't really HAVE to sell this. I don't NEED the money. I just threw this up here to see if some interesting trades might pop up.

OOOH! This is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for in a trade for my ESP Vintage 4.

Interested?

- thanks,
J.

nope...the frets were leveled by hand by one of the best in Nashville. Joe Hincliff at Corner Music did a fret level and setup about a year back now. The fret level was absolutely amazing. And he's been doing most-all my setup work for last 3-4 years now.
