THis bass is very beautiful aesthetically and tonally. I have always gotten compliments on this Box-elder top. This Roscoe can achieve a wide variety of tones from upright-like dark to Jaco snappy. The string spacing is 18.3 mm and the scale is 35". My favorite thing about this bass is the neck. Absolutely one of the most comfortable necks I have ever played. Diamondwood is a great fingerboard wood as well. It really sings! THere are a few dings as you can see in the pics. Also, there is also a custom inlay I had them do near the horn, it simply reads "Jaco". However, it is hardly noticeable. The bass is very lightweight. This is truly an exceptional fretless. It has been played on many recordings and left the sound engineer smiling!

I would really prefer to trade this!!! I have a gig coming up that calls for a Jazz bass-type bass and thats why the Roscoe is up for sale.
