Not really sure about this. This bass plays and sounds great.
I'm a Spector guy, but I don't like Gloss finishes (my other Spectors are natural).
I bought this bass as it was an opportunity that presented itself when I was searching for a Spector 6, but I just can't get used to the Gloss.
If you're into Poplar Burl, it doesn't get much better than this one. Even other Spector owners with Poplar that have seen this one go "Wow"!
Not a mark except for an extra strap peg hole at the bottom (Centered as opposed/in addition to Spector's normal off-set).
Low action. EMG DC's. Spector Tone Pump pre. Spector 6 string sized case included. The B string in the pix sticks out due to a spacer I put on the string (No, not for the same reason Gary Willis used to do this
) and has nothing to do with the bridge.
35" scale. 17mm string spacing.
TRADES:
1. Any Spector US bolt on 6 string in a natural or matte finish. These seem to be going for $1200-$1600 used so we're in the same ballpark.
2. Any Spector US or Euro neck thru 6 string in a natural or matte finish.
Other "possible" trades:
1. A Legend 6 + cash if it's been updated to EMG DC's or 45P or 45J's is a remote possibility.
2. One of the US bolt on 5's with the wide (19mm) spacing.
Also looking for a Markbass Little Mark Tube 800 which could be used in place of any "+ cash" in a possible trade deal.
