Hello TB- I have a very early Gibson era tobias signature. 4500SN# w/old style pre-gibby bidge and preamp. Bass is one of the most beautifly crafted instruments I have EVER owned- nice and light- my only dislike is that its not as aggressive a tone as I would like- but it is very clear- and a funkersters dream- weight is between 8-9 lbs (closer to 8 but I don't want to misreperesent as my bathroom scale aint the best! Woods are Lacewood, walnut maple and wenge
