FS/FT feeler Vintage F-bass BN5

Sign in to disble this ad
Im on the fence trying to decide whether to keep or not. This is an earlier model F-bass BN5 in the gold finish no longer used. The bass is in great shape and sounds awesome, im just trying to decide if its me or not. With that being said im opening up trades to other 5 or 6 string basses. Im a singlecut guy so if you have a singlecut trade you will get first choice ...... Outright sale price is $1800.

Here are some of the specs from the Fbass site.
34.5" scale
19mm string spacing at bridge
hipshot B bridge
Two F Bass stacked, single coil/hum-cancelling, magnetic pickups
This bass produces a thick rich sound reminiscent of a good vintage tone with a sweet rather than harsh high end; however, retaining the ability to cut through a mix. The addition of the very natural sounding preamp allows for variability towards more modern sounds. The two separate volumes allow you to blend the two pickups in any amount of each, not limiting you to the fixed levels of a blend control. The passive tone control functions whether in passive or active mode enabling it to modify a different set of frequencies than the ones affected by the active tone controls.

Bump for a great dude and a bass I REALLY want. Good luck Ivory.

To everyone.........F basses are the joint. I've owned 6 or 7 and I'm never disappointed. You can take them to any gig and get the sound you are looking for. The slap tone and Jaco tone are especially killer. My CC is burning a hole through my wallet looking at this bass.
