Poundage ??

Have you weighed it yet?

For those of us older bassists who play 5 hour gigs
a pound or two can make a world of difference by the
end of the night and can be a deal-maker or a deal-breaker
for some of us.

I won't even consider a bass over 9lbs and prefer closer to 8.

Same here!! I'm in the process of saling all my heavier basses. I will sacrifice a little tone, or what have you, for lighter weight any day.

Sorry for the delayed response...

bass weighs in at 8.2 lbs or LESS..my digital scale does fluctuate from 8.0 to 8.2.

defiantely a light[er] one.....16.4 with the case on the scale...
