I'm looking to let my MIJ Fender '75 Reissue go for sale. I am asking $700 US plus actual shipping costs.
Unfortunately, I am only interested in one trade item, which is a Bergantino AE210 cabinet.
Will ship to CONUS and Canada only. I will take the neck off, and ship neck and body inside a smaller box with bubble wrap and packing peanuts. No idea what the weight is as I don't actually have a bathroom weigh scale. Feels about the same as my other Jazz and my Sterling though? Later tonight, I'll update this to give you the size of the shipping box.
Paypal OK.
I am the second owner of the bass, and I've had it since 2004. Never been gigged, left the house only once. It was made in 1995 according to the serial number.
These basses are killer, easily the equal of a MIA Jazz to me, and to many others. Tonally, these are a touch brighter than an alder/rosewood Jazz, super for finger style funk and slapping. Super slim and fast neck, nice low action.
No issues at all with this bass. As much as I love it, I prefer an alder/rosewood setup for a Jazz, compared to the ash/maple configuration of the '75 Reissue. There is one small ding on the neck binding, otherwise I would say this bass is in excellent condition. It's incredible for a bass of this age. A little finish check here and there, nothing to worry about or even see really.
Bass has a pearloid pickguard, to replace the original white one. I think the pearloid works well with the pearloid neck markers (which are inset, not painted on). Comes with padded Fender gig bag, and both the new and original pickguard.
If you have any questions, PM or email me, I'll be glad to help.
