What we have here is a nice American Standard Jazz Bass. It's a 2006 model, string through bridge/body or top-loaded, maple finger board, black finish, white pickguard, stock single coil pickups, passive wiring with factory S-1 fat switch built into the volume knob, and an aftermarket tone switch w/5 presets in place of the tone knob installed by previous owner~~>very nice!! Also includes new Dunlop straplocks I just installed. Loves them! It's very clean w/no major scratches. Minimal (if any) fretware.
It plays/sounds great!! I think I've found I'm more of a rosewood fretboard guy when it comes to Fenders.
