FS/FT Fender American Jazz Deluxe 5 with case Priced to Sell(price drop)

Sign in to disble this ad
Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe 5
Specs:
alder body
Poly Finish body paint
Rosewood neck neck
34" scale fretted rosewood fingerboard with 9.5" fret radius
Fender American Standard single coil (Samarium Cobalt)
they are better than the new N3's ( me and many others agree, Its either Samarium or Nordstrands!)
string-through-the-body bridge
chrome hardware
Fender/SKB custom fit hardshell case
all the original Fender accessories. (trus rod adjuster and registration manual).

Personal Comments:
I would say this bass is in 9 out 10 condition.
It has about 2 dings that can only be felt when sliding your hand slowly across the body and cannot be pictured with camera.
Great Fender Tone!.
I am only selling to fund a high end purchase! and need the extra cash, otherwise i would not sell this Tone Beast.
If you are searching for a bass like this its because you have played one and have done your research, so no need for me to describe tone and stuff like that, But feel free to ask!

Use:
My bass only sees the light of my room and church on sundays which explains its condition. Always kept at room temp with a humidifier to help preserve the wood. I take very good care of my instruments.

Trades:
5 string
Equal or higher value(if you have a high end bass but need the extra cash but still need a great bass, we can trade and i will add cash from my end)
No lesser value basses.

I paid 1399.00 for this bass
1099.00 Shipped to your door!

I am in OKC in case you want to meet.
I reserve the right to close this thread at any in case of a local sale.

Pics:

I never removed the plastic that describes the functions of the knobs.

This is a picture of my sadowsky but it is the only one i had to show the same scratch pad i use on the Fender to protect the finish on the back from buttons or anything else.

I agree the color just pops, and the grain look smooth, not very common with alder.

I would say this is my #1 player but it got less attention when i got the Sadowsky and a smith that i have temporarily.
i cant justify having this bass without playing it enough, i believe it deserves to be played!

Took some pictures as requested.
Please pardon the poor quality but i did what i could with my digital cannon.
The back has some scratching that i cant explain why it is there, but cant really be seen with camera.

The inlays are stickers only because i really dig the 70's look, but can easily be removed.

The dent i was talking about, i tried my best to show it, but it can really only be felt.

Battery cover still has plastic.

Nice and smooth neck

Beautiful Tuners

Some scratching on the crome plate, only because the pad dosent cover that, they all get scratched.

I forgot to mention that it has a fresh new set of sadowsky blue label strings, still very bright and clear sounding. Installed only 8 days ago.

All pm's have been responded, still here.

By the way i have been offered about 3 G&L 2500 basses (not my type of bass), i wonder if it is the same one?
