FS/FT - Fender CIJ '62 Reissue Jazz Bass

Crafted in Japan, I think this is a 2001 model, '62 reissue jazz bass with old candy apple red finish and rosewood board. The bass has vintage thin frets, a Gotoh bridge, replacement control plate and tone pot and is strung with flats. Comes with a gig bag. There is a spot on the back of the neck that you can see in one of the pics, but it is smooth to the touch and no problem at all. There are a few mild dings from normal player wear, none affecting the integrity or playability of the bass. This bass has a great feel, true old school vibe with the flats and is a great looker.

I didn't think I'd be offering this one up, but with my 5-string jazz and recently acquired L1K, I'm set on passives. Trades - well I am no longer considering this. Cash sale price dropped to $575 shipped to CONUS. Paypal is OK.

Of the many Jazz basses I've had and played, I would rank this one very high. It's very possible that I will change my mind and keep this, even though I haven't been playing it much lately.

Friday bump. Seriously, I would take this bass over a custom shop model I once had, several US models I've had, and a couple other made in Japan models I've had. I've just picked up an '83 G&L L1K and an '83 Stingray, so that put this one on the bubble. Otherwise it would be staying right here.

I'm having second thoughts - I don't think I can stand to let this one go. I'll sleep on it and decide tomorrow for sure. If I don't sell this one, I'm going to put up my Fender Jazz 5-string instead.
