FS/FT Fender CIJ Sting P Bass Modified with Muy Grande's and extras

Up for sale and possibly for trade is a professionally modified Fender Sting Precision with a pair of Muy Grande single coil's that sounds thick and punchy. It's wired V/V/T. The route is very clean and painted. Upgraded bridge to a Fender American Deluxe string through, four saddle for better sustain and intonation. New CTS pots and a orange drop capacitor, and a shielded cavity. 3 ply B/W/B pickguard. Just came back from the shop with a great setup nice low action, great neck and frets, plays effortlessly without buzz. The condition is very good. Holes have been drilled well for the covers.

Includes the original bridge, pickguard, thumb rest, a Fender Hwy 1 Jazz pickup and ashtray pickup covers. Two sets of string a nearly new Dr High beams 45-105, it's strung with a new set Roto 66 45-105. and Fender hard shell case.

What a fantastic mod!! I'll bet it sounds awesome. If didn't have two daughters getting married this year it would be a no brainer. $700.00 shipped is a steal. GLWTS!!!

Thanks! It is a steal. I would make a better deal if someone had some Lindy Fralin P pickups or Empress Effects pedals.

Were the 2 extra holes @ the bridge due to changing the bridge to get the cover to fit?
Love this bass with the mods-Muy Grandes are an excellent choice.

I bought 3 basses last year, just last month Instagator's restored '65 Rivoli , and promised the wife a new watch before I got any more basses.

A SCPB is on my list an this one fits the bill nicely. Off to ply the wife.

I'm not sure, they were drilled by last owner. The new bridge is same size (that I switched) I think there is a second set of holes for turning the bridge cover around to fit. I can check. I'm surprised there isn't more hype about the Muy Grande's.
