This is a Fender Custom Shop remake of a modified 1955 P bass – $ 1,650 Shipped CONUS
with several custom features - as follows:

Custom Shop - Classic Series – RB (Rich Briere) serial #
MFG Date 10-4-1993 – on COA and Neck plate
Candy Apple Red (CAR)
Precision/Jazz Configuration - Single Coil
Concentric Knob Configuration VT/VT
2 Saddle Bridge w/ String Thru Body

Quarter Sawn Flamed Maple Neck
Neck is "B" Width @ 1.5/8 inches at the nut (more like 1 9/16 but a shade bigger than 1.5)
MFG Date 10-4-1993 – on COA
Clover (Long Stem) Tuners

Fender Tweed Case w/ all Original Case inserts (Manual, cord, strap, picks etc…) and COA

Just under 9.5 pounds - heavier in the body than the neck.

Thanks -- lovely bass, and I am sure that it sounds great. However, thanks to a twice surgically-repaired left shoulder, I try to keep my basses to less than 8.5 lbs., if possible (less than 8 lbs. is even better for my shoulder).

The bass in my Avatar is just under 7.5 pounds it's a NASH - same PU config as this one and surprisingly CAR color as well -I understand the weight thing......

I had 3 of the sienna burst RB classic jazz basses(they only made 10 that year). They were great basses and I wish that I had kept one.
