FS/FT: Fender Custom Shop, Custom Classic Jazz 4 string

Wifey and I may have over-extended with the gift buying time of the year (we always forget about dang cost of shipping to australia, too)...so am having to put another bass up sooner than i had hoped.

I am going to put up the Fender Custom Shop, Custom Classic 4 string jazz. This one is that classic white w/ tortoise shell pickgard, RW board. Kinda like this but white; http://www.infographic.com/fender/de...omClassicIBMR4

Feels pretty light with most of the weight in the body, neck is superfast and light. It is in near mint condition. I will check 100% when i take pics (email me for hi-rez pics until I get some new lightweight pics). But let's say 9.5/10 at least.

Can accommodate a downgrade with some cash, or straight cash in my current situation. Would be looking to get a J, P or PJ or similar which gives me some cash. Straight cash will be ~~$1790~~1690 plus shipping. I really need cash and would much prefer that now as my situation needs me getting some cash!

It used to me my bass for a short time. It plays and sound awesome. I've seriously thought about trying to get it back. Unfortunately I don't have the money to do it now. Whoever winds up with it will be very happy with it.

BTW: In response to some pm's, I prefer a USA sale, but am going to Australia (and maybe japan) in Feb if that helps anyone. If i have new destinations I will take it with me there, but really don't want to ship international

i am going to pause selling for now. Unless I get a job soon, it will eventually be back on the market.

But I sold my beloved Status Stealth for now...so money issues are solved for a week or 3

Bringing this thread back from the dead. It's still my most comfortable bass, but I really can't play what I play without a B string (and my desire to stay down the business end of the bass, where I am at home, has something to do with it to)

I will be contacting those that were interested last time I was selling. For now I am mostly interested in a sale or maybe a 5 string 19mm spacing trade (with cash either way). For that matter a shuttle 9.0 or 12.0 might work with or without some schroeder goodness.

But mostly, the $1690 plus shipping deal is back.
