OK guys and gals, here is a beauty of a Jazz Bass! I have this problem- I think Jazz basses are the sexiest looking basses out there and see really swank ones, GAS takes over, I buy them, and then remember that I don't like the tone. I've really tried to love this one though but they just aren't my thing.
The finish is spectacular on this one! Apart from a few very light surface scratches and a tiny ding in the clear coat on the side near the lower horn, it is in near new condition. I tried to picture the clear coat ding but can't get it to show. You can faintly see it in the last pic in the album to which I link below.
These are pretty much standard MIM Classic Series '60s Jazz basses apart from the finish. It is all stock except the pickups. They were upgraded to Fender '62 RI jazz pickups. I don't know if they were pulled from a MIA or MIJ '62 RI though. Regardless, they are an upgrade from stock. Also included is a hardshell SKB molded interior case that is in like new condition.
As far as price goes, we can haggle, but for starters I'll say $750 shipped CONUS. Paypal only. I will ship to Canada too but you fork over any shipping over $50! International, unlikely, but PM me and if we can do it, I will have to remove the neck and ship without the case.
Partial trades are fine if the cash is on your end. I might be able to scrape up a little but unlikely. If it's something really sick though possibly..
I could also work trades out for this and my EBMM Stingray SLO HH combined in trade for something really nice if I get some cash on my end.. See it here:
FS/FT: EBMM StingRay SLO Special HH custom ordered The Stingray by itself is only for sale outright unless it is traded in conjunction with the Jazz for something else and some cash. I like things convoluted!
On to the trade bait!
Basses (4 string fretted only and must be either passive or active/passive with a passive tone control):
-G&L basses
-P or P/J basses (preferably with a jazz width nut)
-J basses with a P pickup in the neck position (this would be ideal!)
-Quirky retro style basses- DiPinto, Italia, Eastwood
-Maybe a semi-hollow bass of some sort
-Lakland Skylines
Other stuff:
-Boss ME-50B multi effect unit
-Peavey
VB-2
-Traynor YBA200-2
-Mesa Buster head (not the two ton combos!!!!!), maybe even a 400/400+
-One of those 300 watter Eden tube heads (I forget the name)
-Any other tube head that can safely run at 2 ohms, at least for brief periods like the Buster, and has a solid DI out and that isn't SVT weight. Trying to stay under 50 lbs!!!!
There are a bunch of pictures showcasing my ineptitude at photography (and the bass) here:

Here's a couple for starters!
