Ok so my quest to add a 6'r to my arsenal is causing me to unload some axes. I recently picked up this Fender CIJ Jazz Geddy Lee which as a serial that dates it in
1994/1995 (Thanks fellow TBrs for pointing that this date would be impossible. I finally found a source that states that this is between a 2006 and 2008) Sorry for the confusion.
It plays like a dream and is great condition.
You would think it is brand new at first glance and have to really inspect it to find the flaws. There is some swirling in the finish but now I am getting really picky. I took a pick of the tiny nick on the headstock and the scratches around the backside of the neck around the 12th fret. It is not through the finish at all on the neck so it only noticeable if you place your thumb up on the top part of the neck and it isn't roughed up. Does not affect playability or feel in anyway. Again, I am trying to look at it as a buyer and point out every little flaw that I could find.
