FS/FT: Fender JP-90 Bass (1990), MADE IN THE USA, Rare & Mint!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey folks.

I am selling / trading my rare black Fender JP-90, MADE IN THE USA Bass in MINT condition.

There are no chips, dings or wear and tear that you would often see on these basses esp one that is 20 yrs old. The bass was made for only 3 years (1990-1992). This bass is from 1990-1991 according to the serial number N003785. Bass looks like it was barely played and hard to believe that it is 20 years old.

This is a very collectible American made bass which is getting harder to find in this almost flawless condition. I just had the bass professionally set up and put on brand new D'addario half round strings and had the pots cleaned.

The bass looks new, and sounds amazing. Comes with the original hard shell case from 20 years ago and fits like a glove. All original.

Original description of the JP-90:

-Offset double cutaway asymmetrical poplar body
-Bolt-on maple neck
-20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay
-Four-on-one-side tuners, fixed bridge, black pickguard
-P/J-style pickups, two knobs (v, tone), three-position switch
-SCHALLER chrome hardware
-Available in Arctic White, Black, or Torino Red finish
-Made in USA.
-Great American Fender bass with awesome Precision & Jazz bass tone!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Good luck and enjoy it!

Open to trades. PM me if any interest...

Willing to sell to a TBer for $450 shipped in CONUS.

Thanks much!

JM

Tues AM bump. Cooler in NJ today but its still early. Thanks for the offers so far. Sorry nothing suitable yet. Keep them coming. To answer more Questions. I'm the 2nd owner. Purchased from a guy in Seattle. It was purchased new from him (1990/1991) and sat in a closet mostly. Everything is original, even the pickguard. The Schaller keys sparkle and are original. I just put on the half-round strings, and had the bass professionally set up locally (incl pots cleaned). No wear at all. Very light (7+ lbs w strap). Never been gigged. I use it for practice in my temperatire-controlled basement only. Tks folks. Stay cool. Joey
