Sign in to disble this ad
Up for grabs is my Fender P-5 deluxe with a maple neck and fretboard. This bass features the pbass and humbucker set up with the 9volt preamp. I will get pics posted when I get home from work. It comes with a OHSC. Price $975. Trades must be accompanied by at least $600 cash.

What year is the bass?

I didn't know they made a deluxe? I thought they were only passive P5's? Do they still make them?

Unfortunately they don't make these anymore... first they killed the US version & then the import. These feel and sound fantastic... very hard to find it seems though. Good luck with the sale... if I had my tax return it would be mine. :-P

Not only did Fender discontinue the 5 string P Deluxe, they also discontinued the big fat humbucker in the current 4 string P Deluxe models. Shame too, 'cause that big ol' humbucker sounds great- and these 5 stringers are becoming rare as, well, a hard to find rare thing. Good luck- my favorite fender bass ever.

+1 Rickenboogie. My fav Fender as well. Used a 4-string deluxe on a session years ago running through a Sansamp DI... I was floored at how good it sounded.

1+ The 5 string P Deluxe is a great bass. I wish I still had mine. In my opinion, this is one of the best production basses Fender ever manufactured.

I realize this is totally useless, but here's a pic of the deluxe 4 I mentioned earlier
