FS/FT Fender MIA Precision w/EMG and free scenery

Up for sale or possible trade is my Fender American Precision. Serial number indicates it is a 95 or 96. Black with 3 ply white pick guard, beautiful rosewood board, and loaded with an EMG pickup.

This instrument sounds about like what you would expect if you combined the most universally loved bass in history with the world's most accomplished pick up builder.

My postal scale puts the weight at about 9 pounds 5 ounces. The condition is extremely good, nearly like new. I would say exactly like new except for a very minor nick in the pick guard right at the truss adjustment slot. Also, new ones don't come with an EMG. Those cost a hundred bucks.

This comes with a very nice hard shell case in great condition. I do not have the original pick up or any case candy.

I don't get offended by trade offers, so feel free to PM me if you want to throw something out there. I am not looking for anything specifically, but I am sure there are some basses out there I would trade for. I would also consider a nice rackmount or pedal preamp in partial trade.

If anyone wants to come by to check it out we can sit out on the patio, enjoy the views, drink some coffee, and talk about how awesome bass playing is.

I just bought a big old power amp, so I might consider a high end preamp in partial trade on this. Maybe a Focusrite ISA One, something from Universal Audio or Summit, etc.

Nice bass. And that does look like some pretty cool scenery. Feel free to open the door and take a better picture since you mentioned it.

I would but it is actually raining here today, if you can believe that.

Are you in arizona? This looks like where my dad lives in gold canyon. I really want your p bass. Gotta talk to the lady about spending funds this close to Christmas. Will be in touch after the drive home from LA.

I am in Arizona. The mountain in the background is the Superstition, so I am pretty close to where your dad lives. Gold Canyon is on the south side of the mountain, and I am on the west side. I imagine you could hike here from his house.

It actually snowed on top of the mountain this morning. That doesn't happen too often.

Look forward to hearing from you. Good luck with your talk!
