Looking to trade or sell my gorgeous Fender American Precision Hot Rod bass in Transparent Sunset Orange- This is a P/J config with handwound Kent Armstrong passive P/J pickups ($300- V/V/T knob configuration), giving the bass an open and clear sound - The pickups are more modern sounding than your stock pickups -quick attack and aggressive (I am also including the stock pickups). Very fast and responsive neck, 1.625 at the nut, and no fretwear. Upgraded Gotoh bridge. Lightweight ash body, rosewood board, nice balance. Bass is in very good, clean shape. I tried to capture the imperfections in the attached pictures (very minor scratches on back and headstock (not to wood), a mark on pickguard, and tone pot is a little scratchy). Ships with Hardshell Case with case candy- also includes original bridge and stock pickups.
