FS/FT Fender Precision special with upgrades

Sign in to disble this ad
Here is a Fender deluxe precision special, upgraded with a Babicz full contact bridge and Hipshot HB7 tuners.Alnico P pups and Noiseless J.
Also has a jazz profile 1.5" maple neck that is very tight grained with some birds eye throughout it. Weighs in at 9.2 on my bathroom scale.
Few small marks on the bottom end bout of the body and a nick on the headstock otherwise very nice and solid.
Comes in a Guitar Research case which is nicer than the Fender cases imo.Strung with a fresh set of Circle K's.
I have another PJ up on the block and whichever sells first ill keep the other one.
With the upgrades $600 OBO NOW $550 shipped to the lower 48.

What color is that? Is the pickguard aluminum or plastic?

Thanks Marc, i love this bass i just cant justify having 2 PJ's in the line up with no giggable Jazz. I'm hoping my G&L sells first. However My 62' CIJ Jazz will arrive tomorrow and i may pull this one.
It is a great price considering about $200 in upgrades.

I really don't need to sell this one after getting my 62' reissue jazz, and $525 for this is crazy IMO.These sell for $800 in a gig bag and it has $200 in upgrades and a HSC. I gotta say this one plays as good as any MIA, and I've owned a bunch.
Taking it off sale, but still up for trades.

My 62' reissue is getting all of the play time while this one sits at home.
Need to find a new owner who will play it.

I'm on a Fender Japan binge, just got my Foto Flame JB. Lets move this one, $500 in a new Fender deluxe gig bag or $475 in a used bag.
I can swap the bridge and go a bit lower.
