FS/FT Fender Steve Bailey fretless 6

Sign in to disble this ad
6 strings, ebony fretless fingerboard (compound radius), unlined, 34" scale, 19mm +-0.5mm string spacing, graphite reinforced neck, 18V electronics, with Fender hardcase

The old thread was getting encumbered and I'm no longer willing to sell the B.C. Rich, so new thread.

I'll sell for 1800 USD, but keep in mind I'm in Montréal, so you might have to pay customs.

As usual, hit me with any trade offers.

Man, this bass is among my top 3 wishlist. A bump for you & good luck on the sale... Although I secretly wish it will still be here when I've saved enough money.

Willing to trade?

Would you be interested in my Aries Rian deLuxe fretless 6 (with lines) to trade? (I'm looking for a splendid fretless 6 without the lines.)

Pitty that we cannot meet somewhere (I'm in Europe, the Netherlands).

It's handmade, there is only one like this.
35" scale
18,5 mm. stringspacing
mahogany body
spalted maple back
7 piece neck flamed maple/padouk/maple
makasar ebony fretboard, maple fretlines
hipshot ultralight tuners
Aries custom handwound 4 coil pu's
series/parallel switches
Audere Classic pre-amp

I just played an Aries Conus 5 fretless last week at Luthiers Access Group and it smoked everything I tried that day. Really impressive builder.

If you don't want lines why not just stain the board black? George Furlanetto told me to just lightly sand the board and clean it and then stain away.

Well, I don't have an accurate scale. I was measuring it against metal weights, it's a bit heavier than 7.5 lbs and definitely less than 10 lbs.
