FS/FT: Fender USA Urge I Bass

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a 90s Fender Urge bass, in minty condition. P and J pickups and blendable. I think Fender's most expensive production bass at the time, with a Kubicki designed preamp, 32" scale (my favorite with 105s as a person who also moves from guitar to bass), and extremely light -- probably under 8 pounds. OHSC, pics dont do it justice, awesome metallic sherwood green with pearloid guard. $1050 shipped and paypalled.

Trades? TC Electronic heads and cabs, GB Shuttle, Mesa Walkabout, other 32 inchers like a Landing, and any EUB.

Hmmm, never seen these in that color. Are these the same as the URGE II basses?

No these are better w the Kubicki preamp the Urge I is a way hotter bass. The newer Urge II's have a 34" scale neck as well.

As I am going to sell my CIJ "Steve Harris" 50's Precision This is the only Fender bass worth owning.

I love that couch too. I am lying on it right now.

Never had one, but Urge IIs are 34" scale and probably different electronics.

This is correct. The electronics are different and yes it's a 34" scale neck. I would much rather have my old bass then a new Urge II.

LOL, I was the 2nd owner of this bass! The original owner purchased it new and was too afraid to play it.

Very versatile bass for sure.

Yes, it can be P only, JJ only, or blend P and JJ.

It can blend PJ or JP ie... you can use the neck J and P-pickup or the bridge J and the P-pickup the most versatile bass pickup combo for P or J configs.

Can you tell me what the thickness of the neck front-to-back is at the 1st and 12 frets? If it hasn't sold already, anyway...Thanks.

I actually came to my senses and kept it, but the neck is very slim.
