FS/FT: Fodera Monarch Victor Wooten Classic 4 String

This bass was built in 1999 and for the next 9 years was in a collector's home unplayed and ungigged. I bought this November of 2008 and have been playing it off and on at church and a few jazz gigs, so the bass is still in amazing condition. Normal Wooten Specs: Mahoghany body, maple neck with stringers, Indian Rosewood Fretboard, Flame maple top, Flame Maple Butterfly inlay (normally mother of pearl-ish) EMJ PJ pickups, and Pope preamp with active/passive and mute switch. This bass plays amazingly well and the neck is perfectly straight and adjustable. And of course it sounds exceptionally good. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let me know. Comes with tools, straplocks, Fodera gig-bag.

Paypal e-check only. $5200 + shipping.

Thanks!

BTW, Here's the story on this bass in the words of Brian from theLowEnd bass shop:

"Fodera VW Classic Monarch 4 string EMG PJ setup. Signed on the back of the headstock by Vic. Flame maple top on Mahogany body with 5 pc neck. About 10 yrs. old. This was the bass Victor used at his first bass camp. Never Gigged and a one (now two) owner bass in Excellent condition. It was loaned it to Anthony Wellington for Victor's first bass camp. That's how Victor came to use it for that week and signed the headstock. Vinny (Fodera) finished over the Signature. Comes with Fodera gig bag."

Only trades I may be interested in, are Fodera 5's, 34" scale.

One More. All of these pics I'm using are from theLowEnd. The bass has not changed at all since I bought it. All I've done is played it, changed the strings, adjusted the neck, fixed one fret that needed to be hammered down.

Thanks Again!

Although I am very, very happy with the Modulus, I wish I knew you were going to put this up for sale. One of my dream basses. Marcus is a good guy y'all. He had my bass on its way to me within a couple hours of me making payment and it was exactly as described. Probably the easiest transaction I've had here.
