For Sale or Trade is my Fodera NYC 5 Strings. The bass is in mint conditions, it was a custom order with the gold hardware and the white edge on the neck next to the fingerboard. It is a maple fingerboard with a maple body with a beautiful white covering it that shows the wood, see pictures. Everything is original and the bass has the two band Mike Pope preamp, Volume/Tone, Blend, Bass, Treble and a switch for Active or Passive the best of both worlds. The bass has an amazing tone, great on the lows like a P bass or you can pull out a pronunciated mid range modern sound favoring the bridge pick up, it cuts thru the mix when you perform in a band situation. It has an amazing tone for recording. The bass comes with and original Fodera HSC and will be pack carefully and shipped using UPS unless you want to use another ship company like FedEx or USPS, just let me know in advance. Price is $3300.00 or better offer. Why I am letting it go, well the weight is killing my shoulder and back.

Regarding Trades:
MTD535 with Rosewood, Ebony or Wenge Fingerboard
a Norm Stockton would be the ideal but I will consider all other MTD's
FBN5, I would prefer Rosewood or Ebony fingerboards

What is the difference in the NYC Empire basses, that don't have the butterfly on the headstock?

The tuning machines are original Fodera, this bass has the white edge, very unique, matching headstock, high quality craffmanship. |
