Treat yourself to a G&L l-2500 for Christmas!
This bass features:
1. three tone tobacco sunburst
2. ebony fingerboard
3. BRAND NEW FRETS . vintage size wire expertly and excellently install, and edged rolled about 6 months ago. Has only has flatwounds or nickel rounds since. They are in new condition.
4. no fingerboard dots, which is a cool look
5. side dots are ON the fret, rather than between the frets.
weight is about 8.5 lbs, similar to other Alder bodied l-2500 you might have played.
6. neck is a sanded-gunoil type finish, super fast. This bass does NOT have a chunky neck, but feels alot like a Fender P-5 or new musicman fiver.
7. has new jack. truss rod and electronics in perfect working order, no scratchy pots
8. lousy pics do not do the excellent grain of the wood justice. A very nice 3tts.
9. Currently has Ernie Ball slinkys on it. (works great for this bass)
The finish is in dead mint condition. I say near mint in the title because the luthier chiped the fingerboard in a couple of places, which you cannot feel, chips are less than 1 mm. I have tried to capture them in the closup pic.
Bass will be shipped in OHSC, which is scuffed up, but is the offical G&L case.
