FS/FT G&L L2500 Fretless

If you're looking for an excellent L2500 this is it. Unfortunately I'm just not playing it enough to justify keeping it around. Certainly a looker and tone monster but just not getting into fretless as much as I thought I would. So I'm considering selling/trading.

Body is in excellent condition really with no serious flaws or significant dings of any kind. Seriously looks brand new. Neck is straight with no damage. I think the fretboard is ebony. It has normal string wear like any fretless. No major damage. Headstock in excellent condition.

Bass has straplocks. All electronics work as expected.

These things really are tone monsters. I could make this thing mwah, take on aggressive sounds, or big fat tones, or anywhere in between. Really people couldn't tell I was playing a fretless unless I wanted them too. Total control.

Considering what these things go for new and the rarities they are becoming I'm asking $1000. Bass will ship with perfect condition Gator hardshell case. Trades are welcome too but must be 5 string. I like Lakland, fretted L2500's, Pedulla, Jazz bass style basses, MusicMan, anything boutique, etc. I'm open right now really. I've always wanted a pre-Gibson 5 string Tobias Growler. Let me know what you might be interested in trading.

Hmmm ... if you're now somewhat open to other fretlesses, I have a 50th Anniversary Fender Jazz V Deluxe fretless, black, pearl white pickguard, RW. If that's not boutique enough, no big deal. Just thought I'd through it out there since I've always kind of been interested in an L-2500.

BTW - this Jazz is a FENDER 50th anniversary model, which I guess would be from 1996 or so. It's not the current 50th Anniversary JAZZ model.

Hey man, I know you said 5 strings only, but I have a 1987 L2000, and now that I have assloads of time on my hands due to working 2nd shift I'd like to try out the fretless again and need a 5th string.

FT: 1987 Transparent Blue G&L L2000 w/ OHSC and Paperwork!
