FS/FT: German Goodness - Warwick Streamer Jazzman & Sandberg Custom

Sign in to disble this ad
So, I've found that while I really do like the sound of modern hi-fi basses, I'm really a jazz bass guy at heart. Every time I pick up a good one I just feel all warm inside... and I think that means something . So I'm parting with my possibly all of my basses to get one or two nice high end jazzes. The first two to go are going to be my Warwick Streamer Jazzman 5 and my Sandberg Custom 5. These are some of the nicest basses that I've ever played and I'd really enjoyed owning them but it's time for them to move on.

Both of the basses are in great condition. The Warwick is super clean with only VERY slight pitting in the bridge. I haven't found a real ding anywhere on it. The Sandberg has a blemish on the tip of the lower horn where it looks like someone tried to install another strap-lock but other than that it's fine. Both basses will ship in gigbags (Sandberg standard bag and a Warwick Rockbag) and the Warwick comes with the Warwick care kit.

Any interest in a 1978 Rickenbacker 4001 4 string? Let me know - a longshot I know.

Great tight sound on clip one of the Sandberg. Could you post some additional photos of the headstock and back? Nice looking and sounding bass for sure!

Thanks for the kinds words! Unfortunately the bass isn't with me right now and I won't be able to take pics of it for weeks possibly a couple months (if it hasn't sold by then). You'll just have to take my word that both the back and headstock are in great shape with no noticeable dings on them . Though, I suppose I am the seller so I would say something like that, lol.

Two fantastic basses. Good luck with finding something more "you".

Just an FYI, I believe, based on grain patterns that the Sandberg's top is Wenge, not Walnut, however, I could be wrong.

Either way, good luck.

Best,
Justin

That's actually not the first time I've heard someone say that it's probably Wenge and not Walnut so that just may be right. The original seller said Walnut and I never thought otherwise but I'll make a note of it in the OP. Thanks.
