FS/FT: Gibson SG EB3 with Dark Star & SuperTone Upgrades

Sign in to disble this ad
For Sale: $1200 plus shipping shipped.
Trade Interest:
P bass with J neck
G&L's....sub-9 lbs

This short scale Gibson SG USA made bass was professionally upgraded with a Hipshot SuperTone bridge and a pair of Dark Star pickups. If your looking at this you likely already know how great the Dark Stars are, especially in this bass! If not, see the link below.

The only flaw that I've found on the bass is a small (half the size of a dime) scuff mark on the top horn. Everything else looks and plays as-new. Professionally set up with Thomastick-Infield roundwound strings also in new condition.

This bass comes with the original Gibson USA hard case with white plush interior. Case is in mint condition.

PM or email if you'd like more pictures.

Hipshot's SuperTone Gibson 2 Point Bass bridge is a direct replacement bridge for your 1967-1973 Gibson bass that uses your existing hole pattern. Machined out of solid aircraft quantity aluminum, the Hipshot SuperTone bass bridge features complete adjustability that is easy to use—precise intonation, independent string height, and even side-to-side string spacing adjustment. Most important of all, the resulting tone, punch, and sustain will knock your socks off.

Hipshot SuperTone Gibson 2-Point Bass Bridge Features:

Machined from solid aircraft-quality aluminum
Complete adjustability
Precise intonation
Independent string height
Side-to-side string spacing adjustment

Bump for an AWESOME bass.

Why would a Hetty Deady such as yourself want to part with a Phil Lesh special?

Wow. Beautiful bass bump. I wish I had something you wanted. My 67 P has a real 62 Jazz neck on it, but its going nowhere!

Pretty good price seeing it's $800 worth of pickups. Good luck bro, wish I could.
