I have for sale a Godin A4 fretted bass. This is one of the newer ones that has the synth access.
If you are not familiar with these basses (and they are terrific), here is a description from the Godin website..."
The new A4 SA basses now with synth access, feature the endless sonic possibilities brought to you by Custom Godin electronics. They come equipped with individual saddle transducers at the bridge and a 13-pin output jack, allowing the player to connect to a multitude of 13-pin devices and computers via Midi. Incredible acoustic bass sounds are available through the ¼” output jack and controlling your tone is made easy with the Custom Godin Preamp section voiced specifically for the A4 SA. The two chambered body design found in all of the A-Series instruments is also at work in the A4. This design resists feedback as well as the negative effects that loud stage levels can have on top vibration."
It has a 1 1/2" nut, so if you like the feel of a Jazz neck, you will love playing this bass. The neck is flawless, and with the exception of a couple of minor scratches on the back of the bass and on the battery compartment plate, the bass is in mint condition. It has cool looking black hardware, so I'm not sure if that was custom ordered or not. The person I bought it from said the hardware is original to the bass
The bass will ship with either a Godin hardcase or a Godin heavy duty gig bag....you choose. Both are like new, and if for some reason you want both, that can probably happen for some additional cash.
Price is $675 shipped to the lower 48....payment via PayPal or USPS Money Order. I'm certainly willing to send this out of the US, so feel free to contact me with a shipping quote.
My trade options are pretty limited...
I'd be willing to trade (with some cash on my part) for an EBMM Sterling (H model), 4 string, rosewood board, with a preference for a mid 90's to early 2000 model. I'm afraid I'll be picky on color, but definitely no blue. Let me know what you have.
