For sale is a beautiful 1998 Alembic Rogue 4 string. I am the second owner (was basically unplayed when I bought it). Beautiful basket weave maple top, 34", action low, frets in good shape, mahogany back, beautiful wood match as is expected in Alembic. Comes with factory hard case and original Alembic paperwork
I have to let this go as I am now 61 in a Traditional Western band, and my manager won't let this one on stage. As such, I'm interested in a Sadowsky Metro P/J hybrid 4 string, or with some additional funds any Sadowsky NYC P/J. If you go to the web page

This bass nails the Entwistle tone, and with the Q switch and quick tone switches is very versatile. Prices have gone through the roof with a long wait at Alembic, this might be your chance to get one
There is some finger rash (hard to see on photo) near the front pickup, and the front pickup Alembic decal is faded (finger style player), otherwise no issues and a beautifully playing bass
Trust me, I am struggling with this, and will keep it just so I can
play along to "The Kids are Alright" if necessary and for a blues project in the near future, but I am open to discussion
Please, will only consider a Sadowsky bass in trade with P/J or just P
