The real deal Marcus Bass
bass is an S8 SN# its heavey at 10.5 - maple neck- with a GREAT and I mean GREAT action- neck feels like the best of the early 70's jazzes I've owned (thus why I have kept it so long) pickups have a great growly sound- and it nails the marcus tone- all parts orginal excpet volume pot went bad- new CTS installed- bass has covers, and OHSC tolex and latches all in good repair. Finish is NOT in good shape- on body it seems to have dried out and flaked off- still some of it on- there is no evidence of any kind of refinish on the bass- but most of the orginal finish is not in tact. I'd like to sell this to buy a Sadowsky Metro or another Spector- open to other trades though cash price would be a negoitlbe $1700.
