Looking to sell/trade my sparkly red Ibanez Destroyer. It's a great sounding bass, but I just can't get used to the body shape and the shorter scale (32" I think) neck.
In good to pretty good condition, especially considering its age.
Pics:
Cash sale: $550 shipped to the US including the hardshell case. $500 without the case. Will consider shipping outside the US, but I will not ship the case. Shipping that far would be crazy expensive in the case, whereas I can cut the shipping costs way down by disassembling the bass for shipping.
Trade interests: basses mostly. Prefer 4-string, passive, fretted but willing to entertain other offers. May be interested in a decent to great 2x12 cab also. Run your offer by me, worst I can do is say no thanks. LOWER PRICES BELOW!!!

This spot is on the back end (furthest from the headstock) of the upper body "point". It's all the way through to the wood. Otherwise, there aren't any other major defects. There are some other nicks and scratches, but I think this bass was made in like 83 or 84? If the previous owner, or someone else, knows differently for sure, please let me know.

Body wood?
Thanks! |

and no fretless please

Anyways it was shipped to me from canada, the case is ORIGINAL and had some old stickers i removed. Its a cool old case, that fits it well.
It is 32 inch , i think the nut width was 1 5/8. It really didnt dive much at all, and yes besides that chip it could almost pass as a new bass.
I played it for practice a few times and my gibson t bird ( now sold) had its neck go south and it buzzed like crazy when fretting, at the last minute i grabbed this bass and used it to record a EP with my band.
It always got compliments, i traded it to mlwarriner for his sub which i sold to a local TB'er.
All original besides a badass I bridge , it even has the rare heart tuners i love.
Great MIJ ibanez! i think it was a 1984
400$ shipped is a pretty solid deal on this , look them up on ebay they rarely go for less and NEVER have a original case. |
