The bass plays and sounds great. I bought recently it to give 5's and active basses another shot. They just aren't my thing.
Bass is in very good condition. It has been played so there are a few small dings here and there but nothing bad or deep (they also blend in very well with the finish on these bass. I could only find one I could capture in a picture- it is on the rear edge to the heel of the body). As it has been played, the black-ish chrome has dulled a little along with light hardware tarnishing The pickups and pre-amp are stock Bartolini. Plastic is still over the rear control cavity. I had the guts cleaned and additional shielding installed by a pro tech right when I got it as I found the pre-amp too noisey for my tastes (apparently a lot of folks do with the older generation pre-amp on these).
Bass will ship in a very nice Kaces brand hybrid hard/soft case (I love this case and am buying on for my Ric!).
I am asking a very reasonable $375 shipped and insured CONUS including the hybrid case
The only partial trades I will entertain are:

-A Fender type lower end but not bottom of the heap six string guitar (yes, non basses!) and preferably hard tail Tele type, Squier VM or CV, Fender MIM, maybe a G&L tribute
