FS/FT: Ibanez SR810 Japan

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!

Excellent condition Ibanez SR810 4 string bass made in Japan in 2000. Nearly new strings, and good setup. This is my wife's bass, but she's grown to like the Fender P-bass sound and feel.

Really excellent condition as seen in the photos. The entire bass is seriously like new with the exception of a single dent on the back that breaks the surface and is smaller than a pinky nail. Otherwise there's no chips, dents, dings, or anything else to note visually that I can see. No belt rash on the back, dings on the edge, extremely, barely visible pick wear that I can't get to show in photos. No fret wear at all. It's like it's never been played. Which is mostly hasn't as my wife just doodles at home.

Has that great, narrow Ibanez neck, but it's fairly thick and not as flat as the newer instruments. Active electronics with volume, pickup blend, low and high boost/cut and mid with stacked frequency/cut-boost knob. DXP/DXJ pickups. Black hardware. Transblack body that is hard to photograph, but shows it's fairly nice wood grain in the right light.

SALE:
$260 OBO shipped in the US.
TRADE: For/towards a passive Fender Precision, P-bass clone, or similar looking bass with a pick guard, one single pickup, and two simple knobs. Girly and outrageous colors welcome! I can add cash if the deal warrants.

I'll try to get better photos tomorrow, assuming the sun is shining. The bass is so utterly glossy it's impossible to take photos at night or with a flash.

Sunlight photos.

Note that every line/spot/etc. is simply a reflection or a flake of dust. This thing is the shiniest and glossiest instrument I've personally seen.

Check out the MONEY SHOT at the end! WOOT!

How about an ESP with P/J's? Has Vol/Tone/Select Switch.

Just needs to have the P-bass tone, and have the P-bass look. Get me some photos and a specific model # I can review. Thanks.
