The bass is basically new and I’ve only had the privilege of playing it about a dozen times since I’ve had it. I bought the bass new just a few months ago and it is by far, the nicest bass I’ve ever owned. So nice in fact, that it is making me nuts not being used. I play both bass and guitar and it seems that in the last several months it’s been a lot more guitar work so sadly, the bass sits untouched.

I really love the bass but it is simply too much for my needs now so, I'm either going to sell it outright or, trade down to something more cost effective plus cash.

I'm looking for $3,950 $3,650 now... $3,525 for the bass or a trade and cash deal. I'm looking at the following basses:

Sadowsky
Lull
Dingwall
Stambaugh
Pavel
MTD
Benavente
Aquilina
Pedulla

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is the original info from LAG when I bought the bass last year:

Jerzy Drozd Excellency V
Here is one of the basses we recently received from Jerzy.
His most popular model, the Excellency is a deep-set bolt-on design bass that
combines the sustain of a neck-thru and the snap of a bolt-on.

Some details :
Body - Etimoe
Top - Burl Black Poplar
Neck - 35" Maple / Wenge with Ebony fingerboard
Pickups - Jerzy's own JeDXS Split Singles
Preamp - Aguilar OBP-3 with mid frequency select switch , active / passive switch and full time passive tone control.
Bridge - Jerzy;s own design, made by Jerzy
Tuners - Gotoh
Weight - Just shy of 10 pounds

A remarkable bass.
With the Ultralight hardshell case.

What is the string spacing at the bridge? Beautiful and tempting bass

Vic,

Thanks! Yes, he is correct. Also, it's worth noting that the saddles are 3D adjustable and can be adjusted up, down, and from side to side (change string spacing).

More PM's replied to BUMP.

Yes, the bass comes with the Jerzy Drozd soft-shell case and all of the original case candy stuff including strap locks, wrenches.

Regarding trade offers, if you saw my other post FS: Fender Custom Classic Jazz 4, you'll see that I'm looking for a 4 different 4 string too.

Open to options if the deal is right.

Thanks

Thanks for the trade offers so far. As for the Lakland basses, I prefer the us made 4-94 with rosewood boards.
